- clean - very friendly staff: Andrea one of the managers was so great! she was super friendly and gave me a free upgrade to a suite (I didn’t even ask) so my dog could be by the side door because she remembered he wasn’t a fan of going through the lobby when I stayed a week earlier and would bark at people :/ she was also great when I asked if I could switch rooms due to a lot of noise from side door closing and people upstairs and my dog was freaking out and I didn’t want him bothering people with barking. She got us into a suite on the top floor where it was much quieter for my dog. She also brought my dogs bone up to new room when I said I had forgotten it in first room(I had already turned in those keys) she offered to personally get it and deliver to new room! Not a lot of people/ hotel staff would go to lengths to do all that. That is great managing skills and a friendly personality at work:) I felt bad bc my dog is high maintenance at hotels because he is young and hasn’t experienced them very much (only one time prior) but she accommodated our needs very well without hassle or question! - Rooms were nice for the price - dog fee is only $25 which isn’t bad at all - Right by restaurants/ fast food and gas station all within walking distance - Nice breakfast (limited but perfect for me) - I didn’t use but there is a pool and fitness center - Felt safe as a solo women traveler

The price is great! This place is comfortable enough. It has been renovated, and yoi can tell. The rooms are more updated and newer looking, but the lobby could use an update as well. Overall it is a nice place to stay for a night or two. They have a decent breakfast every morning, and it is close to everything (although not hard to do in Salina, LOL). We have stayed here multiple times when we go to visit our daughter. It is not luxurious but it is comfortable.

Tamara

Thanks Andrea! I accidentally reserved a handicap room but, didn't need. I have a sister who would need one. Andrea moved us to another room so the handicap room for those who need it. Think 1st floor is otherwise pet reservations. Thankful she put us on 2nd. Only complaint is the heater had a wine when it 1st kicked on. Ear plugs (which I always carry) took care of that. Bummed the hottub had to be reset Sat eve and wasn't warm enough. Will stay again

Sally

We have stayed here last 3-4 times when we visit family in Salina. Great location. Staff very friendly and accommodating. with requests or if we need anything. They were very flexible with one visit that had to be extended due to illness. Breakfast choices best variety of any other hotels we have visited. Coffee always available! Also used the exercise room.

Paula

Wonderful room! Newly remodeled and sparkling clean. New carpeting (thank you for that) and a lovely, updated bathroom. Also there were several restaurants within walking distance, which is always a plus anywhere. Unfortunately, when I travel I leave super early in the morning, long before breakfast hour, so I cannot comment on how breakfast is.
